In addition to the above data and requirements, the Diocese of the South in particular has adapted the following as standard practices.

Baptismal Certificate (if applicable). Chrismation Certificate

Marriage License prior to sacrament

Statement from priest the couple has had marriage counseling (in particular the teaching on tithing).

Evidence of full-time employment or of being a full-time student

An understanding (and agreement) of the couple on the removal of all facial jewelry for the sacrament of marriage

An emphasis on the dates marriages are not to be performed (see section 13 above)
